you are my childhood superman!

i think i should be more discreet when talking to boyfriend especially when conveying something i don't like about his friend, because it really got me embarrassed yesterday.
it went like this:
we met his squadmates for dinner, and one of his friend brought along his girlfriend. so i whispered to bf, "eh, the girl beside me, your friend's gf, quite pretty hor." then he said, "not bad lah."

and after dinner was eaten, her bf took out a ciggie and started lighting it up. after which he passed the cig box to his gf. and i was looking at them all this while from the corner of my eyes. and even though i barely knew the girl, like, i didnt even know her name and age, but i was thinking, "no. no. no. don't ever open the box and take out a cig to smoke. no, no, NO!" i even convinced myself that, hell, she wouldnt take out a ciggie for her bf what.
her bf is already smoking right now. she doesnt need to smoke right?
like, she's so pretty, why does she need to smoke? it completely destroys everything!

but in a spilt sec, she was lighting up the cig in her hands.
HA. HA. HA.

i turn to boyfriend, and whispered into his ears, "i barely said she's pretty and whalaueh, she smokes?!" to which he replied, "aiyah, don't care la." and started shaking his head. i know he's turned off too.
then came the part.
hes friend said, "tian, your girlfriend mind us smoke issit?"
he didnt reply, but i turned and smiled and said," NO, NO.. its fine with me."
Yeah, who cares anyway. they are polluting me and bf's lungs, but no, no, it doesnt matter aye? passive smokers are twice as likely to die, but it doesnt bother them so long as the smoke doesnt get blown into our noses.

ARGH. enough of smokers.
I meet them everyday when i go to school.
We, in fact. got to stop breathing for eh, 1 minute? when we make our way up to SB.

Come to think of it, although 70% of the boy's friends smokes, he doesnt.
okay, make that 80%.
that made me conclude,
im helluva proud of the boy! :)
